Student Nationals - Role-play Games (RPG), Free Form Live Action Role-play (LARP), Collectable Card Games (CCGs), War Games (40k, Gothic, Warhammer) and Board Games... The wonders found at Student Nationals this year, held in Edinburgh, Scoltand, by a mixture of Heriot Watt Gamers (Watt Gamers) and Edinburgh University assorted gaming societies.

 

This fine year I was helping out as a Gopher (A red shirt!). Spending my time bopping around doing what I can where I can and once getting to use my first aid skills and once to be a first aid victim. I even won a LARP sword in the raffle!! YAY! I helped to judge a ‘pimp your badge’ competition - Pimp Your Badge was an initiative to get people to buy arts & craft materials to decorate there name lanyards and give the proceedings to charity - You won a couple bottles of wine for the best badge :D I’m sure these where enjoyed.

 

My over all thoughts on the Nationals of this year are “Yay! Woot! Bounce Bounce, Can I be involved again next year?”

Well, this entry is far out of date but in commemoration of the wonderful Mags’ Birthday Pirate-aganza! A few pictures and interesting captions along with names and crew station!

Well today I got further with updating the website and hopefully it will be updated monthly from now on :D Again it’s not updated as quickly as I’d like due to the slow’ness of Kikero. Poor little girl...

 

I’d like to get a new 30in Imac for the new flat in Edinburgh but it all depends on money. Unless there is some random rich person out there who would like to give this young girl a job or the imac so that I can eventually run my own business and have a computer that doesn’t take half an hour to make a simple render in photoshop!!! Although I love Kikero :D She will always be with me and always have a home by my side!

 

To the right >>> Current mess in my bedroom due to cleaning/packing/sorting... excuse bad photography exceptionally quick ‘snaps’ for purpose of showing little sis that it’s like living in a bomb site... Also major reason as to why I’ve not had any time to update currently...
